Went 1-2 with 13 strikeouts, against 13 walks, over 25.2 innings ... Saw action in seven games, with five starts, posting a 7.36 ERA ... Struck out two while yielding just two earned runs over 5.0 innings while collecting the win over Seton Hall (4/15) ... Also hurled 5.0 innings vs. Rutgers (3/31), striking out two ... Fired 2.2 scoreless frames at UMBC (3/7) ... Struck out two and did not allow an earned run against Kent State (2/27) ... Fanned a season-high four over 3.1 innings at Delaware State (3/20) ... 2007 Freshman Season
Established himself as an integral member of the starting rotation going 2-6 with 28 strikeouts and one complete game over 59.2 innings of work, second most on the team ... Started all 11 games he pitched in posting a 7.69 ERA ... Struck out three and yielded just one earned run over 6.0 innings while picking up his first collegiate win over UMBC (3/11) ... This came on the heels of an impressive debut in which he shut down Florida International (3/4), holding the Golden Panthers to one earned run in 5.0 innings of work in eventual 10-9 Wagner win ... Captured his second career win against FDU (4/29), striking out three over 6.0 innings ... Fanned a career-high six in 6.2 innings at Sacred Heart (5/6) ... Was tough-luck loser against Mount (4/14), giving up three earned runs in complete-game (7.0 innings) 3-2 loss ... Struck out four against one walk in 6.2 innings at VCU (3/25) ... Tough on left handed hitters, holding them to a .265 average.
