2021 Senior Season:
Made eight appearances out of the bullpen for the Seahawks in 2021… In 10.2 innings pitched, struck out five batters... Had two strikeouts against Sacred Heart (Mar.26)… Gave up one earned run or fewer in six of the eight outings… Held left-handed batters to just a .214 batting average (3 of 14).
2020 Junior Season:
Made six relief appearances in 2020... Went 1-2 on the season... Earned the win after throwing a season-high 4.2 innings against Marist (3/7), where he recorded a season-high three strikeouts in leading Wagner past Marist, 10-9, in extra innings.
2019 Sophomore Season:
Appeared in 17 games out of the bullpen… finished the year 2-0 with one save and a 4.05 ERA… allowed no runs over 7.2 consecutive innings, spanning four appearances (3/3 to 3/17)… picked up first win of the season after allowing just three hits in 4.1 innings of work at Monmouth (3/23)… posted another 7.2 consecutive scoreless inning stretch over six straight outings (4/10 to 5/23).
2018 Freshman Season:
Appeared in 19 contests out of the bullpen for the Seahawks… Posted a 1-0 overall record to go along with a 2.54 ERA… Recorded two saves on the year… Tossed 28.1 innings in which he struck out 16 batters while only allowing eight earned runs…Limited hitters to a miniscule .188 batting average… Tough against right-handers, as they were a combined .164 against him (11-for-67)… Made his collegiate debut at UCF (March 3), allowing a hit in a third of an inning… Notched a season-high three strikeouts (twice), with the last coming in a four inning relief appearance at La Salle (March 17)… Recorded the first of his two saves on the season at Rider (April 11), working a perfect ninth… Earned his second save in his next outing, on the road at Central Connecticut (April 14)… CONFERENCE ONLY: Made eight relief appearances… Went 1-0 with one save and pitched to the tune of a 1.80 ERA… In 10.0 innings of work, struck out seven batters while allowing just two earned runs and holding batters to a .176 batting average… Left-handed NEC batters were just .167 off him (2-for-12) while right-handers batted a collective .182 (4-for-22).
Before Wagner: Attended Monsignor Farrell and played four years (three at the varsity level) for head coach Bob Mulligan… In the classroom, was a four-time First Honors member while being a member of the National Honor Society in his senior season… On the mound, in his freshman season, made six starts, going 6-0 with a 0.84 ERA, allowing 15 hits with 40 strikeouts and allowing only three earned runs… Earned the CY Young Award… In his sophomore campaign, made eight starts, going 7-1 with a 2.40 ERA over 60.0 innings… Struck out 65 batters during the season, earning his second CY Young Award and leading Monsignor Farrell to its first-ever City Championship in the 52-year history… In 2016, his junior year, made eight starts going 8-0 with a 0.64 ERA, striking out 55 batters while allowing just four earned runs... Captured his third CY Young Award while being named to the All-Count/Staten Island Advance All-Star as well as MSG Varsity All-City First Team and MSG Varsity All-Metro Team… In his final season, made nine starts, going 8-1 in 53.0 innings… Notched a 1.19 ERA while striking out 46 batters and leading Farrell to its second City Championship in a three-year span… Captured his fourth CY Young Award while being named All-County/Staten Island Advance All Star, MSG Varsity All-City First Team, New York State Sportswriters All-State First Team, Mayors Cup CHSAA All-Star Starting Team… Holds the record for most wins in Monsignor Farrell baseball history with 29... Son of Lisa and Marshall... Has one sibling, Jonathan… Has ties to the school as his uncle Michael and Christopher played at the College… Pursuing a degree in Business Administration with concentration in Finance.
