Played a year of post-graduate basketball at Apex Academies and four years at Winslow Township High School under the direction of his father, Chris Martin, Sr. … At Apex, he averaged 15.7 points and 6.2 assists per game in helping Huskies to a 26-2 record and a Top-10 National Ranking … During his year at Apex, Martin teamed with five other Division I recruits, including Marcus Morris, who led Kansas in scoring and rebounding a year ago … At Winslow High School, he helped the Eagles to a 25-5 mark as a senior en route to earning First Team All-Area, First Team All South Jersey and Honorable Mention All-State accolades … Took his game up to a different level during the playoffs, scoring 38 points in the State Semifinals and 27 points in the first half of an earlier playoff game … Garnered First Team All-Olympic Conference in each of his final three seasons … Played summer basketball in the prestigious Sonny Hill League … Loves the game of basketball and listening to music … Born on June 7, 1988 … Has two siblings; Tajira (25) and Najiee (14) … His father Chris Sr. played collegiately at Glassboro State University … Is majoring in sociology with a concentration in family studies at Wagner.
