Turned in a solid season … Member of the weekend rotation for the second year in a row … Posted a 2-4 record with 34 strikeouts, against just 17 walks, and a 5.52 ERA over 62.0 innings … Saw action in 12 games, making nine starts … Went at least five innings in eight of his nine starts and at least six in five outings … Over a three-game span at the end of the year, struck out 11 while yielding three earned runs over 19.0 innings (1.42 ERA) … Hurled 6.0 outstanding innings of two-hit ball while scattering two unearned runs in collecting the win in game one of a doubleheader at Quinnipiac (4/22) … Collected win number two one week later against Saint Joseph’s (4/30) … In game one of a doubleheader with the Hawks, struck out five, against just one walk, while surrendering one run over 5.0 innings … Capped his outstanding run against FDU (5/6), striking out out three while yielding two runs over a season-best 8.0 innings in collecting a tough-luck no decision … Collected a no-decision in game two at LIU (4/3), despite allowing just one run on four hits over 7.0 innings with four strikeouts … Struck out a career-best eight over 4.2 innings while allowing just two runs in season debut against Kent State (2/25) … Fanned five over 4.0 innings in game two against CCSU (3/27).
2010 Sophomore Season
Solid pitcher that saw time as a starter and reliever ... Went 2-7 with 43 strikeouts, against 24 walks, and a 6.41 ERA over 59.0 innings … During NEC-play, struck out 23 while walking just five over 35.2 innings … Saw action in 18 games, making nine starts … Along with Damian Csakai were the team's lone representatives on the 2010 NEC Spring Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll ... Went at least 5.0 innings in six of his nine starts … After starting the year in the rotation, moved to the bullpen and struck out 12 while walking just two and posting a 3.86 ERA over his final 9.1 innings, spanning eight games … Struck out a season-best five while allowing just one unearned run on four hits over 8.0 dominating innings in NEC-opening 6-1 victory over LIU (3/26) … Collected win number two with 7.0 innings of one-run ball with four strikeouts while not walking a batter in 3-1 victory at FDU (4/9) … Allowed just one earned run (4 total runs) with three strikeouts over 5.0 innings at San Diego State (4/24) … Fanned four over 6.2 innings against Monmouth (4/16) … Closed out Wagner’s 6-2 win over NYIT (5/2), striking out the side in the ninth inning … Got two big outs in narrow victories at CCSU (5/15) and vs. Quinnipiac (5/21) … Closed out the year at the NEC Tournament, fanning three over 2.1 innings vs. CCSU (5/27).
2009 Freshman Season
Went 2-2 with 32 strikeouts, against 12 walks, with a 4.97 ERA over 41.2 innings of work while holding hitters to a .290 average ... During NEC-play, was 1-1 with 16 strikeouts, against just one walk, over 20.0 innings ... Saw action in 14 games, making three starts ... Standout in the classroom as he was named to the 2009 NEC Spring Academic Honor Roll ... Fired a complete-game shutout at Coppin State (3/18) for his first collegiate win, striking out four while yielding just two hits and two walks over 7.0 innings ... Earned his second win over Mount St. Mary's (4/24), striking out four while not walking a batter over 4.1 innings of two-run ball in relief ... Closed out Wagner's NEC-clinching win over FDU (5/17) with 4.0 innings of one-run ball in 9-1 victory ... Tough-luck loser at Sacred Heart (5/10), striking out four, against no walks, while yielding one run on two hits over 4.2 innings ... Struck out three over 3.0 scoreless innings at Quinnipiac (4/9) ... Also fanned three in 2.0 innings vs. CCSU (4/4) ... Is the first student-athlete in the baseball program to hail from Canada … Originally from Brantford, Ontario … Played his prep ball at Assumption College under the direction of Doug Ahnear … Team MVP in 2006 and 2007 while helping the Lions to a combined 13-7 mark …Went 13-1 with 67 strikeouts and a 1.44 ERA over 63 innings for the Canadian Thunderbirds, a traveling AAU summer baseball team in 2007 … In the summer of 2008, played for the Brantford Braves … Also participated in badminton, cross country and volleyball … Was born on August 3, 1989 ...
