Wagner College Athletics

Junior Season (2025): Started all 38 games this season, recording 34 hits, 20 runs, and 16 RBIs, along with five walks. She posted a .283 batting average, a .383 slugging percentage, and a .313 on-base percentage. She also led the team with seven stolen bases. On the fielding side, she had 130 catches, 43 putouts and 73 assists with a .931 fielding average. 

Sophomore Season (2024): Started all 38 games for the Seahawks in the 2024 season…Collected 27 hits scoring 16 runs…Earned 17 RBI’s and five doubles in her sophomore season…Stole 11 bases…Ended the season with a .223 batting average…In the field Payton completed the season with a .942 fielding percentage.

Freshman Season (2023): One of three Seahawks to start all 40 games in her first year on Grymes Hill … Recorded her first collegiate hit against Ohio (2/24) … Finished the season with 11 hits and six runs scored … Picked up her first collegiate RBI against Merrimack (4/15).

Before Wagner: Captain and four-year player at Downers Grove North … Recorded a .371 batting average, .408 on base percentage, and .971 OPS …  Member of the National Honor Society, Change Makers, and Honor Roll … Played club softball for Nationals Premier Softball, recording an .310 OBP and .300 batting average.
