Before Wagner: Member of National Honor Society at Cumberland Valley High School. Named PA High School State Triathlon Champion. 2022 Female Nominee for Brunner-Pierce Award. High school record holder in several events, including the 200-medley relay, 400-freestyle relay, and 100 Fly, a 25-year standing record. All-State Swimming Honorable Mention and two-year swimming varsity letter holder, leading the Eagles to both the 2020 and 2021 District and State Championships. First swimmer in her high school history to be a Top 10 Record holder in all (8) Individual Events. Two-year Varsity Letter holder in Track & Field, CVMS track & field record holder in 800-meter, 4 x 800 relay, and the distance medley record. 4-year member of the Academic Honor Roll. Staretz plans to study pre-med at Wagner, specializing in nutrition. Father played D-1 football. Has two siblings that play football and lacrosse, Bryce and Trey.
