Wagner College Athletics

2024 (Senior Season); Named FIrst Team All-NEC, an NEC Prime Performer on three separate occasions. Led the Seahawks with 35 goals and 48 points. The Islip, NY native appeared and started in all 17 games while logging career-highs in goals, assists, points, shots, shots on goal, ground balls, caused turnovers, and draw controls. Scheidel finished the regular season eighth in the NEC with 5.56 shots per game, ninth in the NEC with 2.06 goals per game and10th with 2.81 points per game.

2023 (Junior Season): Appeared in a career-high 17 games while making a career-high 16 starts. Notched a career-high 16 goals, eight assists and 29 points. Notched a season-high four goals against Merrimack on April 15.

2022 (Sophomore Season): Appeared in 15 games while making four starts. Tallied a career high four goals and five points against Rutgers on April 13. She tallied at least one goal in the last six games of the season. Kelsey scored 14 goals and was named an NEC Prime Performer on Monday, April 18.

2021 (Freshman Season): Appeared in five games of the bench as a freshman… caused a turnover in win over Bryant (3/13)… scored two goals in win over Saint Francis U (4/24)… dished out an assist in win over Merrimack (5/01).

Before Wagner: A 2020 graduate of Islip High School … Was a two-sport athlete in lacrosse and soccer … Named All-Division in lacrosse during her freshmen, junior, and senior campaigns … Named All-County her sophomore year … Ranked 69th overall in her recruiting class by Inside Lacrosse during her senior year … Won counties and named All-Division in soccer during her junior year … Chose Wagner for its home-like feeling and how amazing the lacrosse and academic programs are … Daughter of Keith and Denise Scheidel and has one sister, Sarah (16).
