Biography
2023-24 (Senior Season): Returned from injury to appear in three games while earning one start. Sanchez-Henry made her return to the floor at LIU on February 24. Sanchez-Henry scored her lone basket of the season against Le Moyne on February 29.
2022-23 (Junior Season): Appeared in 21 games while averaging 4.8 points per game. Tallied a season-high 12 points against St. Francis Brooklyn on January 26. Finished 15th in the NEC in steals per game. Also tallied a career-high 394 minutes played throughout the season.
2021-22 (Sophomore Season): Played in all 29 games while earning one start at Bryant (Jan. 6)... Averaged 2.6 points, 1.0 assist per game, 1.2 rebounds while logging 10.7 in a reserve role… Netted a season-high ten points on two occasions, the first, on opening day at NJIT (Nov. 9) and again at home against Central Connecticut (Feb. 3)... Pulled down a career-high six caroms at home against New Hampshire (Nov. 28)... Dished out a season-high four helpers twice, the last coming in that Feb. 3 contest against the Blue Devils… Recorded three steals twice, the last coming in her start at Bryant… Finished with two blocks on the season, with her first collegiate block coming on the road against Saint Francis U (Jan. 27).
2020-21 (Freshman Season): Played in 18 games for the Seahawks… Averaged 4.2 points per game, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per contests… Logged 13.3 minutes while shooting 37.1 percent from the field and 44.0 percent from three-point range… Scored in double-figures in three games, highlighted by a career-high 13 points in 16 minutes of action against Saint Francis U in the 2021 Northeast Conference (NEC) Semifinals (Mar. 10)… Dished out a career-high six assists twice, the last coming in the regular-season finale against Mount St. Mary’s (Mar. 5).
Before Wagner: Played four years of varsity basketball under head coach Scott Robinson… In the classroom, she was inducted into the Delta Scholars (2018-19) and the following year, was inducted into the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society… She guided Howard High School to four straight County championships while capturing the Sectional title in 2016-17 and 2017-18 and leading the program to a Regional and Co-State championship in 2019-20… In her sophomore season on the court for the Lions, she garnered All-Country First Defensive Team as well as being named to the Second Team All-County… The following season, after pouring in 10.0 ppg, 3.0 apg and 3.3 spg, she was named First-Team All-County, Second Team All-Maryland while repeating on the All-County Defensive Team… In her final season, she led the program a 25-0 season where she upped her production in scoring (10.5 ppg), assists (4.0 apg) and rebounds (5.0 rpg) while adding 3.0 steals per contest en route to another First-Team All-County selection and a third straight appearance on the All-County Defensive Team… Additionally, she was named to the Second Team All-Metro (Baltimore)… Played AAU for Powermove in the GUAA Circuit in 2018-19, where she averaged 9.0 ppg and 3.0 apg.
