2008 Junior Season
All-NEC Second Team ... Third-straight all-conference nod ... Team Co-Captain ... Hit .230 (41-178), including .263 during conference-play, with 26 runs, six doubles, one home run,19 RBI and seven stolen bases ... Also drew a squad-best 22 walks and had the third-best team OBP (.333) ... Threw out 28.7 percent (27-94) of would-be-base-stealers, including 31.3 percent during conference-play ... Those 27 assists led NEC-catchers ... Started all 55 games, setting a Wagner single-season record in the process ... Concluded the season with a seven-game hitting streak and batted safely in 16 of his last 20 games, checking with a .321 average during that time ... Hit .438 (7-16) with eight RBI, four runs, one home and one double over four games vs. Sacred Heart (5/17-5/18) ... Had a pair of hits and Wagner's first RBI in narrow 2-1 win in game three ... 2007 Sophomore Season
All-NEC Second Team ... Named as a catcher after earning accolades at the utility position as a freshman ... Hit .296 (45-152), including a scorching .338 during NEC play, with 24 runs, seven doubles, two home runs, 18 RBI, seven stolen bases and 13 walks ... Was tough on would-be base-stealers gunning down an impressive 31 percent (33-107) while allowing just 10 passed balls ... Started all 50 games at catcher ... Collected a career-high four hits to go along with two runs and a double in Wagner's 12-7 win over Winthrop (3/17) ... Went 2-2 with two RBI, two walks and a run in 10-9 win at Florida International (3/4) ... Hit his first career home run to put Wagner up for good and added a two-run double in 8-5 win at LIU (4/6) ... Hit safely in all four games against Mount (4/13-4/14), highlighted by his second career home run ... Collected two multi-hit games at Quinnipiac (4/20-4/21) ... Helped the Green & White to a four-game sweep over FDU (4/28-4/29) by going 5-13 with five runs and two RBI ... Had two three-hit games at William & Mary (4/1) and at Monmouth (5/20) ... 2006 Freshman Season
All-NEC Second Team ... Played in 37 games, including 33 starts, rotating between the outfield and catcher ... Hit .282 (29-103), including .349 during NEC games, with 15 runs, 10 RBI, 13 walks and a .380 on-base percentage ... Had six multi-hit games and a season-best six-game hitting streak ... Was instrumental in Wagner clinching a NEC Tourney bid, going 2-5 with a RBI double and a run in 6-5 win over Monmouth (5/21) ... In doubleheader sweep at SFNY (5/6), went 3-7 with three runs and two RBI ... Named Akadema NEC Rookie of the Week for the week of May 8-14, batting .308 (4-13) with three runs and two RBI, helping Wagner to a 2-1 mark against LIU (5/13-5/14) and a victory over Iona (5/11)... Went 2-4 with two runs in two wins over NEC Champion Sacred Heart (4/14-4/15) ... Had three hits vs. Quinnipiac (4/29-4/30) ... Began his collegiate career with hits in three-straight games at JMU (3/4-3/5) ... Was 2-4 against Michigan (3/19) ... Had two hits and two RBI at Stony Brook (4/11) ... Hit .379 (11-29) with runners in scoring position and .366 (15-41) against lefthanders.
Scholastic / Personal:
Played his prep ball Cranford High School under the direction of Dennis McCaffery ... Helped lead the Cougars to the Watchung Conference, Section and Union County North II championships ... Was first team All-County as a junior and senior ... Second team All-Group as a senior ... Also was a standout on the gridiron, earning third team All-State honors as a senior, helping lead the Cougars to Watchung Conference title ... Is the school-record holder in passing yards ... Played four years of varsity basketball ... In the summer of 2007, played in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League for the Bourne Braves and hit .280 ... His brother David (24) was a catcher on the Lafayette baseball team that qualified for the 2007 NCAA Tournament ... Was born on April 26, 1987 ... Also has a sister Jennifer (19) ... Was a member of the National Honor Society ... Graduated from Wagner with a degree in math and a minor in education.
