VESTAL, N.Y. — Wagner women's tennis had two players still standing in the Flight F singles bracket during day two of the NEC Individuals on Saturday.

For sophomore Alexia Estrada, she faced off against Chicago State's Verona Madigan in the top semifinal. After both players won a set convincingly, Estrada dropped the final set, and her tournament ended 6-1, 0-6, 7-10.

Junior Claudia Lindsey had better luck against Stonehill's Carlota Souto in the bottom Flight F semifinal, as she won her match in straight sets (6-2, 6-4). Lindsey will now face off against Madigan for the Flight F championship tomorrow morning.

The championship rounds for all brackets at the NEC Individuals will take place tomorrow morning starting at 9 a.m.
