STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — First-year head coach Ian Parisi has finalized the Wagner women's bowling slate for the 2026-2027 season, he announced on Monday.
The schedule features 10 meets, with Wagner serving as host for a pair to open the season. The Seahawks will compete in two meets at local Rab's Country Lanes on Staten Island, hosting one of those two meets. This will be the team's debut under Parisi, who arrives on Grymes Hill after serving as head coach at Molloy University for the past five seasons.
Opening the season on Saturday, Oct. 10, Wagner will head to Deptford, New Jersey to host the Bud Whitman Memorial. Held at Bowlero Deptford, the meet will be played through Sunday, Oct. 11.
Hosting its second meet of the season, Wagner will welcome teams to the Seahawk Classic at Rab's Country Lanes on Saturday, Oct. 24. Wrapping up its hosting duties with the conclusion of the meet, competition finishes on Sunday, Oct. 25.
The Seahawks will have a brief rest period before their first conference meet of the season, with NEC Meet #1 set to begin Friday, Nov. 13 in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania. The three-day meet will mark the first of a pair of regular-season meets hosted by the conference this season. Held at Clearview Lanes, the meet concludes Sunday, Nov. 15.
A week later, Wagner picks back up with the three-day Jersey Jamboree in Hackensack, New Jersey. After a pair at home and the NEC's first meet at a neutral site, this competition hosted by FDU marks the Seahawks' first true road meet of the season. Held at Bowler City, the meet will begin Friday, Nov. 20 and go through Sunday, Nov. 22.
Wagner opens 2027 with the Northeast Classic, held in New Castle, Delaware at Bowlerama. Hosted by Sacred Heart, the meet is set for Friday, Jan. 15 through Sunday, Jan. 17.
A neutral site meet will mark Wagner's second time competing on Staten Island for the 2026-2027 season, with the Eastern Intercollegiate Bowling Conference hosting its Eastern Intercollegiate Bowling Tournament #3 on Friday, Jan. 29 at Rab's Country Lanes.
Two weeks later, NEC Meet #2 will begin on Friday, Feb. 12 at Imperial Lanes in Milton, Pennsylvania. The conference's member schools will compete through Sunday, Feb. 14.
Wagner will compete next in the Dr. Robert Cincotta Memorial, beginning Saturday, Feb. 27 and concluding on Sunday, Feb. 28. Hosted by both Molloy and Adelphi, location and venue details have yet to be determined for the meet.
Rounding out the regular season, Wagner will compete in the Northeast Region Roundup for a second consecutive season. Held at Bowlerama in New Castle, Delaware, Wilmington will host from Saturday, March 13 through Sunday, March 14.
For postseason competition, the 2027 NEC Championship is set to begin Friday, March. 19, 2027 in Hamilton Township, New Jersey at Hamilton Lanes, wrapping up on Sunday, March. 21. The championship bracket features four teams competing in a double-elimination style bracket.
