Field Hockey Reveals 2026 Schedule

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Wagner College head field hockey coach Aubrey Mytych announced the Seahawks' schedule for the upcoming 2026 campaign on Wednesday.

Wagner embarks on its eighth season in recorded program-history on Friday, August 28 at America East member UAlbany for noon start. Two days after, the Green & White will welcome Big East member Rutgers for the 2026 home opener at 1 p.m. on Sunday, August 30 atop Grymes Hill.

The following weekend, the Seahawks take on CAA member Hofstra and Big East member Temple in back-to-back home events. Wagner hosts the Hofstra Pride on Friday, November 4 at 3:30 before squaring off against the Temple Owls on Sunday, November 6 at 1 p.m.

Wagner then hits the road for three consecutive road games. First, the Seahawks travel to CAA member Drexel for a 4 p.m. start on Friday, September 11. Second, Wagner heads to CAA member Monmouth for a noon start on Sunday, September 13. To wrap up the three-game road stint, the Green & White begin conference play with at Mercyhurst on Friday, September 18.

The Seahawks return back home for two games to conclude the month of September. On Sunday, September 20, Wagner hosts Patriot League member Lehigh for a 1 p.m. start at the Wagner College Field Hockey Complex. The Green & White stay on Staten Island for a 10 a.m. game against conference rival LIU set for Thursday, September 24. 

Wagner begins the month of October at NEC affiliate newcomer Quinnipiac for a 1 p.m. game time on Friday, October 2. After a matchup with the Bobcats, the Seahawks host Sacred Heart for a 3 p.m. start on Friday, October 9.

The Green & White are on the road against Rider on Friday, October 16 for a 4 p.m. start before welcoming Stonehill at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 18.

Wagner's final away game of the regular season comes on Friday, October 23 as the Seahawks head to Merrimack.

The Seahawks wrap up their regular season with a non-conference matchup against Big East member Villanova on Sunday, October 25 before welcoming New Haven for a 3 p.m. start on Friday, October 30. 

The 2026 NEC Tournament is set to be hosted at the Wagner College Field Hockey Complex with the semifinal round on Thursday, November 5 and the conference title game scheduled for Saturday, November 7.
