STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Wagner women's tennis team dropped their second straight match on Saturday, losing to Marshall 4-0 on the CSI Tennis Courts.
The Herd took care of business in the double round, sweeping their set win on court 2, and taking a 6-3 win on court 1 before the set on court 3 could even finish. With a 1-0 lead in hand, Marshall only needed wins on courts 2, 4, and 6 to secure the 4-0 win. Each of those wins came in straight sets
A bright spot for the Seahawks was sophomore
Claudia Lindsey, who was winning her set 7-6 on court 5 before Marshall clinched the team victory.
