Women’s Bowling Earns Team Win at Dr. Robert Cincotta Memorial

HACKENSACK, N.J. — Wagner earned its first team win with a victory over St. Thomas Aquinas in Sunday's Dr. Robert Cincotta Memorial.

The win over St. Thomas Aquinas was a 727-612 win where sophomore Rebekah Newman was a major contributor towards Wagner's 68% team fill percentage for the day. The team also took a win in one game against Adelphi. Across Sunday's meet, the Seahawks competed in Baker matches against LIU, Dominican and Adelphi.

Next up, the Seahawks will have the rescheduled Seahawk Invite on Sunday, March 8 at Rab's Country Lanes. Originally scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25 but pushed back due to inclement weather, the meet will also be senior day for Wagner's pair of seniors — Samantha McDermott and Angelia Lubrano.
