Maylen Sampedro Tarela has been names Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week following a strong all-around performance at the Princeton Invitational last weekend.
Sampedro Tarela totaled nine goals on 11 attempts while adding two assists across three matches for the Seahawks. She opened the weekend with four goals on five shots against Bucknell, followed by two-goal, one-assist effort on four attempts against Indiana. She capped the invitational with three goals on three shots and one assist against host Princeton.
Next up, the Seahawks return to competition at the Wildcat Invite, beginning with a pair of games on Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Villanova Swim Complex — facing Harvard at 12:30 p.m. EST followed by California Baptist at 6 p.m. EST. Wagner will conclude the weekend with a matchup against Gannon on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 9:45 a.m. EST.
