BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — The Wagner women's tennis team earned the fifth spot in the NEC preseason poll, the conference announced on Tuesday. 

Last season, the Seahawks landed in the sixth spot in the preseason poll, and entered the NEC tournament as the sixth seed. They went on to upset third-seeded Stonehill in the first round 4-1, before falling 4-0 in the semifinals to Saint Francis.

This season, Wagner returns its two 2025 All-NEC recipients. Sophomores Liepa Sataite and Victoria Madail both earned All-Rookie team honors, while Madail also earned a spot on the singles second team.
