This Week in Wagner Athletics; 15 Teams in Action as Swimming & Diving Teams Take Part in NEC Championships

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week. 

 

Baseball 

- The Seahawks travel to Riverside, California for a weekend series against UC Riverside from Friday, Feb. 20 to Sunday, Feb. 22. 

- First pitch on Friday is set for 4 p.m. EST while Saturday and Sunday's start times are scheduled for 3 p.m. EST.

 

Men's Basketball 

- Wagner will play three road games this week. On Monday, Feb. 16, the Seahawks will travel to LIU for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off inside the Steinberg Wellness Center in Brooklyn. 

- The Seahawks will also play at Mercyhurst on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 7:00 p.m. on Owen McCormick Court in Erie, PA and against Saint Francis on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 2:00 p.m. at DeGol Arena in Loretto, PA.

 

Men's Lacrosse 

- Wagner travels to CAA member Monmouth for a 2:30 p.m. start time in West Long Branch, New Jersey. on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

- The Green & White then head to UMass Lowell for a noon start in Lowell, Massachusetts on Saturday, Feb, 21.

 

Men's Fencing  

- The Seahawks will take their second and final trip to Brooklyn, as they will take part in the Shark Showdown at LIU on Sunday, Feb. 22. The bouts will take place at the Steinberg Wellness Center.

 

Men's Swimming & Diving  

- The Seahawks are set to compete at the NEC Championships starting on Tuesday, Feb. 17 and finishing on Friday, Feb. 20.

- The Championships will take place at the SPIRE Aquatics Center in Geneva, Ohio. 



 

Men's Tennis  

- The Seahawks will start their three-game homestand at the CSI Tennis Courts with a match against Mount St. Mary's on Monday, Feb. 16 at 12:30 p.m. Then on Friday, Feb. 20 they'll host Colgate at 12:30 p.m., and will finish off the week by facing Illinois State on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m.



 

Men's Track & Field 

- Wagner participates in the 2025 Indoor NEC Championships at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York from Sunday, Feb. 15 to Monday, Feb. 16.



 

Women's Basketball 

- Wagner hosts Mercyhurst on Thursday, Feb. 19 for a 7 p.m. start at the Spiro Sports Center. 

- The Seahawks-Lakers matchup is set to be streamed on ESPN+, SportsNet Pittsburgh, and NESN Nation.

- Two days later, the Green & White host Saint Francis for a 2 p.m. start on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 

Spiro. 

 

Women's Bowling 

- Wagner takes part in the NEC Meet #2 at Steel City Bowl & Brews in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania from Friday, Feb. 13 to Sunday, Feb. 15. 



 

Women's Fencing  

- The Seahawks will take their second and final trip to Brooklyn, as they will take part in the Shark Showdown at LIU on Sunday, Feb. 22. The bouts will take place at the Steinberg Wellness Center.



 

Women's Lacrosse  

- Wagner hosts Ivy League member Dartmouth on Sunday, Feb. 22 for the Seahawks' annual Alumni Appreciate Day on Hameline Field.

- The Seahawks-Big Green meeting will start at 11 a.m.



 

Women's Swimming & Diving

- The Swimming and Diving teams are set to compete at the NEC Championships starting on Tuesday, Feb. 17 and finishing on Friday, Feb. 20. The events will take place at the SPIRE Aquatics Center in Geneva, Ohio.



 

Women's Track & Field  

- Wagner participates in the 2025 Indoor NEC Championships at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York from Sunday, Feb. 15 to Monday, Feb. 16.

 


Women's Tennis  

- The Seahawks return from their two-week hiatus and host the Colgate Raiders at the CSI Tennis Courts, on Friday, Feb. 20 at 12:30 p.m.



 

Women's Water Polo  

- Wagner hosts Iona for the Seahawks 'Senior Day' and lone home game of the 2026 season on Wednesday, Feb. 18.

- The opening ball-drop between Wagner and Iona is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Spiro Sports Center.
