STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Wagner College women's lacrosse coach Kelly McPartland has announced the team's captains for the 2026 season with junior attacker Amelia Logan, junior defender/midfielder Rileigh Baggett, and senior attacker Shea Saracino taking on leadership responsibilities for the Seahawks upcoming campaign.
During last year's season, Amelia Logan appeared in all 15 games, making 10 starts, for a Seahawks team that captured a share of NEC regular season title for the third time in the program's 28 season history.
Logan scored 15 goals and added nine assists for a total of 24 points last year. Her 15 goals and nine assists are the most by a Wagner returner in both categories.
The Monroe, Conn. native collected 16 ground balls, caused three turnovers, and picked up two draw controls during her second year on Grymes Hill, highlighted by a two-goal three-assist outing against FDU on March 29, 2025.
Rileigh Baggett started all 15 games for Coach McPartland's defense during her sophomore season.
The Madison, N.J. native caused seven turnovers and collected seven ground balls. In the NEC Semifinal round against LIU, Baggett collected two ground balls and caused one turnover.
Shealin Saracino joins the Seahawks roster as a transfer from CAA member Campbell. During her tenure with the Camels, the Longs, S.C. native appeared in nine games, scoring four goals with two coming against Monmouth on April 14, 2024.
Logan, Baggett, and Saracino and the rest of the Seahawks will embark on their 2026 season at CAA member Drexel on Saturday, February 14. The opening draw control between the Seahawks and Dragons is set for 3 p.m. on Vidas Field.
