ORLANDO, Fla. — The Wagner College cheerleading team is set to compete at the UCA College Nationals, held Friday, Jan. 16 through Saturday, Jan. 17 at AdventHealth Arena – North inside Walt Disney World Resort.
For more than 35 years, the UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship has served as the premier stage for collegiate cheer and dance programs nationwide. Recognized as the most prestigious championship in the sport, the event brings together top teams from across the country for a season-ending celebration at the "Most Magical Place on Earth."
Wagner is coming off an impressive showing at the 2025 national championships, where the Seahawks earned a fifth-place finish in the All Girl Division I Game Day division. In the semifinals, the Green & White posted a score of 91.43 out of 100, placing sixth among 22 competing programs. Advancing to the top-11 finals, Wagner elevated its performance, recording a 93.8 to secure fifth place overall. Notably, the Seahawks completed both rounds without a single deduction.
The Green & White will open competition with their Gameday Routine on Friday at 2:31 p.m.
