IRVINE, Calif. — Wagner men's water polo's Laszlo Strasser has been named to the Peter J. Cutino Award Watch List, USA Water Polo and The Olympic Club announced Thursday afternoon.
The award recognizes the best player in men's and women's collegiate water polo. This is Strasser's second time to be named to the list, also being named in October of 2023. The Cutino Award is in its fourth year, beginning in 2022.
In the Metro Atlantic Water Polo Conference this season, Strasser has been named to the Player of the Week Honor Roll three times and leads the Seahawks as their team captain.
Wagner travels to No. 5 Fordham on Saturday, September 27 for a 4 p.m. EST matchup against the Rams before heading west to the Gary Troyer Tournament in Claremont, California during the first week of October.
