Men’s Basketball Unveils 2025-26 NEC Slate

Staten Island, NY – The NEC has announced its full slate for the 2025-26 season, with Wagner set to compete in 18 league games as the Seahawks aim to contend for another NEC Championship.
 
Wagner opens conference play on January 2 with a road trip to Chicago State. The Seahawks then return to the Spiro Sports Center for a three-game homestand, beginning with Stonehill on January 4, defending champion Saint Francis U on January 8, and Mercyhurst on January 10.

The first extended road swing of the season starts on January 17 at conference newcomer New Haven, followed by trips to FDU (January 19) and Le Moyne (January 23). Wagner closes January with a matchup at LIU on January 25 before wrapping up the month at home against Central Connecticut State (January 29) and FDU (January 31).

February brings a balanced stretch of home and away contests. The Seahawks host Le Moyne on February 5, then travel to CCSU on February 7. LIU visits Staten Island on February 12, followed by road dates at Stonehill (February 14) and Mercyhurst (February 19). Wagner will remain in Pennsylvania to take on Saint Francis U on February 21, before closing the regular season with home games against New Haven (February 26) and Chicago State (February 28).

The 2026 NEC Men's Basketball Tournament begins with the quarterfinals on March 4, followed by the semifinals (March 7) and championship game (March 10).

Game times and national television assignments will be announced at a later date. All NEC contests will stream live and free on NEC Front Row. Wagner's full non-conference schedule will also be released in the coming weeks.
