Madail, Sataite Earn All-NEC Honors

Bridgewater, NJ – The Northeast Conference (NEC) announced its 2025 women's tennis postseason awards on Friday, with freshman Victoria Madail earning Second Team All-NEC honors in singles while joining fellow freshman Liepa Sataite on the league's All-Rookie Team.

Madail delivered an impressive debut season, collecting 16 singles victories and earning NEC Rookie of the Week honors twice, along with two Prime Performer recognitions. She strung together a season-high six-match singles win streak and added 10 doubles wins, teaming with graduate student Daniela Hernandez and junior Dariana Vera.

Sataite also made an impact in her first collegiate season, tallying six singles wins and five doubles victories while being named a Prime Performer. She played a key role in Wagner's postseason run, helping secure an upset win over Stonehill to send the Seahawks to the NEC semifinals.

This marks the second time Wagner has earned a Women's Tennis Second Team All-Conference selection, following Gabrielle Perraudin's recognition in 2023, and the first time in program history that two Seahawks have been named to the All-Rookie Team in the same season.
