Baltimore, MD - The Wagner College women's tennis team notched a convincing 7-0 road victory over Coppin State in Baltimore on Saturday, March 8.
Wagner kept the momentum through singles play. Madail won 6-4, 6-3 at #1. Hernandez was a 6-3, 6-3 winner at #2. Senior Paula Uy secured a 6-3, 6-1 victory at #3.
Vera notched a 6-0, 6-0 win at #4 and freshman
Claudia Lindsey was efficient at #5, 6-1, 6-2. Freshman
Leah Ollivierre received walkover wins at #6 singles and #3 doubles.
"We were a resilient group today facing tough weather conditions on the road." said Wagner's tennis head coach,

Claudia Lindsey, who kept it simple and played a smart singles match."
The Seahawks get right back at it Sunday in Baltimore as they visit Morgan State in a match to be played at Goucher College's tennis courts at 2pm.
