Grasonville, MD – The Wagner women's golf team secured a sixth-place finish at The Intercollegiate, hosted by JEL Golf at Prospect Bay.
The Seahawks wrapped up the tournament with a team score of 121-over par after three rounds, placing them sixth out of nine teams.
Freshman
Maria Calleja was the standout performer for Wagner, finishing in 22nd place with a score of 30-over par. Fellow freshman
Bree Council followed closely behind, posting a 32-over score to finish in 25th place.
Seniors
Aisha Rodriguez and
Ximena de la Garza placed 28th and 30th, respectively, with Rodriguez shooting 35-over and de la Garza finishing with a score of 36-over.
Senior
Elise Fujita finished 33rd with a 42-over score, while junior
Lillian McNally rounded out the team in 45th place with a score of 64-over.
The Seahawks will close out their season at the NEC Championships, taking place at the Kingsmill Resort Plantation Course in Williamsburg, VA, from Friday, April 11 to Sunday, April 13.
