Woodstown, NJ – The Wagner women's golf team delivered a dominant performance, defeating St. Joseph's 332-404 in a one-day match at Town and Country Golf Links.
The Seahawks shot a solid +48, showcasing their skill and consistency to secure a convincing victory. In contrast, St. Joseph's shot a +120, unable to keep pace with the strong performance from Wagner.
Wagner's dominance was further highlighted as they held the top six spots on the leaderboard. Freshman Maria Fernanda Calleja led the way, finishing in first place with a score of 78 (+7), while senior Aisha Rodriguez finished second with an 82 (+11). Seniors Ximena de la Garza and Elise Fujita tied for third, each shooting an 86 (+15). Freshman Bree Council placed fifth with a score of 90 (+19). Additionally, junior Emma Shelby played independently and tied for sixth with a score of 93 (+22).
The Green & White are back in action next weekend, Saturday, March 29-Sunday, March 30, for The Intercollegiate in Towson, MD.
