Angelia Lubrano Earns Second Team All-Conference Honors

Bridgewater, NJ - Junior Angelia Lubrano was named Northeast Conference (NEC) Second Team All-Conference, announced by the conference on Thursday.

In Baker-style play, Lubrano led Wagner in complete frames (460), average pinball per frame (18.98), overall fill percentage (82.3%), average pinfall per first ball (8.95), 9+ pinfall per first ball percentage (70%), strikes (199), spare conversion percentage (68.9%), and finished second in strike percentage (43%).

In team play, The Brooklyn native led the Seahawks in complete frames (236) and strikes (83), finished second on the roster in average pinfall per first ball (8.68), and strike percentage (35.2%) and finished third on the roster in average pinfall per frame (17.62), overall fill percentage (77.1%), and 9+ pinfall per first ball percentage (61%).

Lubrano completed 119 out of 120 frames in the two NEC Meets during the regular season, including a perfect 60-for-6o at the second conference meeting. At the second NEC Meet, Lubrano also averaged a season-high pinfall per frame (20.33) and produced a season-best overall fill percentage (88.3%) in Baker-style play. 

"I'm beyond excited and proud that Ang was named to the Second Team All-Conference for this year, " commented Head Coach Richard Behan. The team has faced a lot of adversity this season and she was always a steady hand both on-and-off the lanes. I can't wait to see what the future holds for both Ang and the program as a whole!" 

Amongst the NEC, finished second in individual spare conversion percentage (72.8%), second in individual split conversion percentage (38.9%), third in overall individual frame rate (83.3%), fourth in Baker-style individual frame fill percentage (87.5%), and fifth in Baker-style average pinfall per frame (19.52).
