Staten Island, NY – Over the weekend, the Wagner College men's and women's swim and dive teams faced off against LIU, with both squads emerging victorious. The men's team triumphed 91-55, while the women's team claimed a 79.5-68.5 win over the Sharks.

Before the meet, seven seniors were honored for their dedication and achievements at Wagner. For the men's team, Robert Wagner, Enrico Mancardo, and Adrian Aguirre were recognized. On the women's side, seniors Hayden Husler, Madison Petricevic, Bree Anderson, and Shamiya Guirre received their well-deserved recognition.

In the men's competition, Robert Wagner led the Seahawks with a first-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke, posting a time of 52.79. He also anchored the victorious 400-yard medley relay team, which included Mancardo, sophomore Adrian Andes Moreno, and Nikko Carrillo, who finished in 3:27.61. Mancardo continued his strong performance by winning the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.71.

Adrian Moreno Andres also made his mark by securing first place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 58.45, while sophomore Manuel Villalpando took first in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:54.04.

On the women's side, freshman Mia Goodale shone, taking first place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.41. She also contributed to the 200-yard freestyle relay victory, alongside graduate Allie D'Allegro, sophomore Rebekka Luoto, and freshman Lovisa Ramsten.

Luoto claimed first place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.05, while D'Allegro finished second in the event (1:06.48), but captured first place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.53. Ramsten secured second place in the 50-yard freestyle, clocking in at 24.83.

Next, the Seahawks will travel to Brooklyn, NY, to take on LIU once again, this time on the Sharks' home turf.
