This Week in Wagner Athletics; Two Teams in Action as Men’s and Women’s Basketball Begin Conference Play on Friday

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week.

Men's Basketball

- Wagner opens NEC play on the road at Chicago State on Friday, January 2, at 6:00 p.m. CT (7:00 p.m. ET) inside the Jones Convocation Center in Chicago, Ill.

- The Seahawks will then host their first NEC home matchup on Sunday, January 4, at 4:00 p.m. against Stonehill inside the Spiro Sports Center.

Women's Basketball

- Wagner completes its 2025-26 non-conference slate by hosting NJAC member NJCU on Tuesday, December 30 for a 2:00 p.m. tip at the Spiro Sports Center.

- The Seahawks embark on their 2025-26 NEC schedule by welcoming Chicago State on Friday, January 2 for a 7:00 p.m. tip on Grymes Hill.

- The Green & White conclude their weekend by traveling to Stonehill for a 2:00 p.m. start on Sunday, January 4.
