STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week. 
 

Men's Basketball

- The Seahawks will host the third of four consecutive non-conference games at the Spiro Sports Center on Wednesday, December 17, welcoming Maryland Eastern Shore for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.

- Most recently, junior Bryan Akanmu earned NEC Prime Performer honors after scoring 18 points and grabbing four rebounds in Wagner's 95–93 overtime victory over Bloomfield last Thursday.

Women's Basketball 

- Wagner travels to A10 member Rhode Island for an 11:00 a.m. tip-off at the Thomas M. Ryan Center in South Kingstown, R.I.

- Most recently, junior Lijirin Doyinsola Modesayor was named an NEC Prime Performer for the second time this season after scoring 16 points and grabbing eight rebounds on 7-12 shooting at Rider last Saturday.
