WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Wagner College men's basketball team continues its 2025 non-conference schedule on Saturday, November 22, with a matchup at Georgetown. Tip-off is set for 12:00 p.m. at Capital One Arena, with coverage on ESPN+ featuring Jeremy Huber and Martin Bahar on the call.

Saturday's matchup will be the fourth all-time meeting between the programs, with Georgetown holding a 3–0 advantage. The teams first met in 1977 and last squared off in 2024, when the Hoyas earned a 66–41 victory.

Georgetown (4–0, 0–0 Big East) enters the weekend coming off a 79–75 home win over Clemson. The Hoyas, led by third-year head coach Ed Cooley, are averaging 79.8 points per game and shooting 43.6 percent from the field. Earlier this week, KJ Lewis was named to the Big East Weekly Honor Roll after averaging 23.0 points on 51.7 percent shooting (15–29), while adding a team-high 7.0 rebounds per game, 1.5 assists, and 3.0 steals. Georgetown welcomed six newcomers ahead of the season and was picked to finish sixth in the Big East.

Wagner (0–4, 0–0 NEC) continues its seven-game road swing after falling in overtime at UMBC, 71–70. Junior Nick Jones led the Seahawks with 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting, adding five rebounds and three steals. Sophomore Bin Basil provided a spark off the bench with 14 points on 7-of-11 shooting and seven rebounds, while junior Bryan Akanamu added eight points and five boards.

Jones was named an NEC Prime Performer last week and currently ranks 15th in the NEC in scoring (12.3) and first in steals (2.5). As a team, Wagner ranks first in the NEC in three-point percentage at 40.2 percent.

Following Saturday's matchup, the Green & White will travel to the Bronx to face Manhattan on Wednesday, November 25, at Draddy Gymnasium for a 5:00 p.m. tip.
