Women's Soccer

This Week in Wagner Athletics; Seven Teams in Action as Seahawks Host Events on Saturday and Sunday

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week. 
 

Field Hockey 

- Wagner returns to NEC play as the Seahawks travel to LIU to take on the Sharks on Friday, October 10 at 1 p.m. at the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium in Brookville.

- The Green & White stay in the state of New York as Wagner travels to CAA member Hofstra on Sunday, October 12 at 1 p.m. at Cindy Lewis Stadium in Hempstead.
 


Football

- Following an 18–13 comeback win over Norfolk State in week five and a bye week in week six, the Seahawks open NEC play on Saturday, October 18, with a noon kickoff against Mercyhurst at Hameline Field.

- The matchup marks the first of three consecutive home games to begin conference play this season.
 


Men's Golf 

- Coming off a win over Saint Peter's in a dual match on October 3, Wagner heads to the Bucknell Fall Invitational at the Bucknell Golf Club.

- The Bucknell Invite will begin Sunday, October 12 and will conclude on Tuesday, October 14.
 


Men's Tennis 

- Wagner will travel to the Hawthorn-Rooney Tennis Courts in the Bronx to participate in the Fordham Invitational from Friday, October 10 to Saturday, October 11. 
 


Men's Water Polo 

- Playing at home for the first time this season, Wagner will be at the Spiro Sports Center on Saturday, October 11 for a 10 a.m. matchup against George Washington. 

-The Seahawks are fresh off a trip to California for the Gary Troyer Tournament, which they closed out with an explosive 20-15 win over Chapman. 
 


Women's Tennis  

- Wagner will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. to take part in the ITA Northeast Regional Tournament this weekend from Thursday, October 9 to Sunday, October 12 at the Penn Tennis Center.



Women's Soccer 

- The Seahawks will honor their seniors on Sunday, October 12 prior to a 1 p.m. matchup against Saint Francis U.

- Now 3-1-1 in NEC play after a 4-3 win over Stonehill, Wagner is looking for another conference win in its lone game of the week.
