LORETTO, Pa. — After four straight home games, the Wagner College football team continues NEC play on Saturday, November 1, traveling to Saint Francis for a 12:00 p.m. kickoff. The matchup will stream live on NEC Front Row with Pat Farabaugh and Jay Roberts on the call.
Saturday's contest marks the 34th all-time meeting between the Seahawks and Red Flash, with Wagner holding a 24–9 advantage in the series. Four of Saint Francis' nine wins have come in the past five seasons.
Saint Francis (0–7, 0–3 NEC) enters the matchup winless this season. In their final year competing at the Division I level, the Red Flash are set to move to Division III beginning next season. Saint Francis was picked to finish sixth in the NEC Preseason Coaches Poll and currently ranks fourth in the conference in passing yards per game (199.6). The Red Flash average a league-low 9.6 points per game while allowing a conference-high 36.1 points per contest.
Wagner (2–6, 1–2 NEC) was recently named a Stats Perform FCS National Team of the Week Honorable Mention following a 24–13 win over RV Duquesne on October 25. The Seahawks totaled 311 yards of offense while holding the Dukes to just 240 yards. Sophomore quarterback 
Jack Stevens went 10-of-13 for 62 yards and a touchdown, while graduate student 
Andre Hines Jr. rushed for 90 yards and a score on 17 carries.
Defensively, senior 
Sam Martin led the Seahawks with 10 tackles. Junior Armoni Itote and graduate student 
Akil Lampley each added six tackles, while senior Jayen Brown and junior 
Shamar Williams both recorded interceptions.
Following Saturday's matchup, Wagner will remain on the road to face Robert Morris on Saturday, November 8, at 12:00 p.m.
