STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Wagner College women's soccer team continued conference play with a 1–1 draw against FDU on Thursday night at Hameline Field.
With the result, the Seahawks moved to 6–2–6 overall and 5–1–2 in NEC play, snapping the Knights' eight-game conference win streak as FDU moved to 8–5–4 overall and 8–0–1 in the NEC.
FDU opened the scoring in the 29th minute to take a 1–0 lead.
Wagner answered in the 71st minute as sophomore forward
Anayah Rivera converted her third goal in as many matches to even the score at 1–1. Last season, Rivera scored twice in the Seahawks' regular-season matchup against the Knights.

Abigail Marcello recorded six saves on the night, including several key stops in the closing minutes to preserve the draw.
The Seahawks were outshot 17–5 but made the most of their opportunities, placing three shots on target while earning four corner kicks.
With three games left in the regular season, Wagner sits tied for third in the NEC alongside LIU and Howard. The Seahawks continue league play on Sunday, October 26, traveling to face Delaware State at 3:00 p.m.
