Rich Behan Named Interim Women's Bowling Head Coach

Staten Island, NY - Wagner College Director of Athletics Brendan Fahey has announced the hiring of Rich Behan as the interim women's bowling head coach for the remainder of the 2025 season.

"I'd like to thank Brendan and the rest of the administration for the opportunity," Behan said. "I'm super excited to take over as the interim bowling coach and look forward to working with our student-athletes to cultivate the future success of the program."

A Staten Island native, Behan was a standout bowler at St. Peter's Boys' High School, where he was a four-year varsity athlete. During his senior season, he averaged over 180 pins per game and recorded a personal best of 223. His contributions helped lead St. Peter's to a second-place finish among Catholic high schools in league play.

He takes over a team who most recently placed fourth of seven teams at the final Northeast Conference Meet of the fall semester.

Currently serving as the Director of External Relations for Wagner College Athletics, Behan will add interim women's bowling head coach to his responsibilities as he takes on this new role.
