Dover, DE - The Wagner College football team will play its second consecutive road game on Saturday, as the Seahawks travel to Delaware State, with kickoff set for 3:00 pm.
Bonelli Dominates Again
Sophomore wide receiver
Jaylen Bonelli reached the end zone once again in week two at Lehigh and is up to three touchdowns in two games, which is tied for the most in all of FCS football. Through two games, Bonelli has 160 receiving yards.
Dating back to last year, Bonelli has six receiving touchdowns in his last six games.
Special Teams Making Plays
Wagner is ranked second in the country in punt return defense, as the Seahawks' two punts have been returned for a combined loss of six yards on the season.

Wagner In The National Rankings
Despite Saturday's loss at Lehigh, both Wagner's offense and defense continue to be well-represented in the national rankings. The Seahawks are fifth in the country in total defense, allowing 208 yards per game. Wagner is also 10
th in the country in rush defense, allowing just 82 yards per game on the ground, 11
th in the country with 126 yards allowed through the air, and 21
st nationally with 2.5 sacks per game.
Offensively, Wagner is 16
th in the country with 14 yards per completion and 25
th nationally in both scoring offense (29.5 points per game) and passing efficiency (147.89).
Kamau Continues To Impress
Sophomore
Sekou Kamau is Wagner's leading rusher through two weeks with 127 yards on the ground while averaging six yards per carry.
The Series
Saturday's game against the Hornets will be the second-ever meeting between Wagner and Delaware State.
In 2021, Wagner took a 20-7 lead into the halftime locker room and came back in the fourth quarter to tie the game, but Delaware State came out on top, earning a 33-27 victory in double overtime.
Scouting The Hornets
Delaware State enters Saturday's game with a 1-1 record and is coming off a bye week. In week zero, the Hornets fell 35-14 at FBS member Hawaii before earning a 17-15 victory at Sacred Heart in week one.
Saturday's game will feature a number of familiar faces, as Delaware State head coach Lee Hull along with assistant coaches Darrell Wilson and DJ White used to coach at Wagner prior to arriving at Delaware State.
