Manchester, NH - The Wagner College bowling team took part in the third Northeast Conference (NEC) Meet of the 2023-24 season from Saturday, February 17 to Sunday, February 18, hosted at Yankee Lanes.
The Seahawks participated in seven Baker-style format matches against seven conference opponents.
The Green & White entered the meet with a conference record of 4-10. Wagner won one match at the first NEC Meet, and then garnered three wins at the second installment of the NEC Meets.
At the third NEC Meet, Wagner would finish the weekend with a record of 1-6. The Seahawks defeated LIU in the fourth match of the weekend, by a score of 893-786. The Green & White scored rounds of 179 and 178 in the first two games against the Sharks.
Wagner averaged a score of 871 per match of Baker-style scoring, their opponents averaged 918 throughout the weekend. The Green & White's average sum per game was 174.3 across the 35 games, within the seven Baker-style scoring matches. In total, the Seahawks finished the weekend with a total pinfall of 6,100.
Overall, the Seahawks are 5-16 heading into the final regular season meet of the season. From Saturday, March 2 to Sunday, March 3, the Green & White will compete at the Adelphi Invitational in Queens, NY.
