Staten Island, NY - Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for the week.

Men's Basketball
-The Seahawks open Northeast Conference (NEC) action at LIU on Thursday at 7:00 pm, before hosting Saint Francis U on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
-Wagner enters conference play with the best record in the conference for the third consecutive season.
-Juniors Javier Ezquerra and Melvin Council Jr. recently earned NEC Prime Performer honors after Wagner's win over Manhattan.

Women's Basketball
- The Seahawks will begin NEC play on January 6 in Loretto, PA, tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
- Last week, the Seahawks earned a 83-50 win over Saint Elizabeth. Junior's Semie Brar and Rakisha Ballinger were named NEC Prime Performers for their efforts in the non-conference finale.

Track & Field
- The Seahawks will be back in action at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday, January 5 for the Wagner College Invitational.
- The last time out, Wagner set five new school records, as well as one facility record, at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday, December 8. 
- For their performances at the Wagner College Shootout, Jason Marchese was named 'Track Athlete of the Week', Jack Mason earned 'Field Athlete of the Week' as well as 'Rookie of the Week'. For the women's team, Ruth-Ann Chambers won 'Track Athlete of the Week' as June Fernandez received 'Rookie of the Week'.
