Fairfield, CT - The Wagner bowling team competed in the Northeast Classic at Bowlerama this past weekend, finishing in 26th place.
The Seahawks finished with a 0-5 record in five Baker-format scoring matches, but went a perfect 5-0 in traditional scoring matches. The wins came against Mount Aloysius, Maryville, Adelphi, Central Missouri and Howard.Â
Individually, senior Totiana Miranda finished the highest among the Seahawks, finishing in 36th place with an average pinfall of 204.20. Sophomore Angelia Lubrano (62nd, 193.60) and senior Amanda Medvetz (77th, 190.00) rounded out the top-100 finishers for Wagner.
As a team the Green & White finished with a pinfall of 11,935, which averages out to 180.8.
The Seahawks will return to action next weekend at the New Jersey Open, hosted by FDU. The three day event kicks off on Friday, January 26.
