Rehoboth, DE - The Wagner women's golf team competed at the Delaware State Fall Invitational in its fall 2023 debut, finishing in 12th place.

Juniors Elise Fujita and Ximena de la Garza led the way for the Seahawks. Fujita tied for 36th place after shooting a 239 (+26) across three rounds, including a 76 (+5) in round two. De la Garza tied for 40th place, notching two rounds of 77 (+6) for an overall 240 (+27).

Sophomore Emma Shelby earned an outright 60th place finish after shooting a 258 (+45). Junior Aisha Rodriguez immediately followed Shelby on the leaderboard, tying for 61st place after finishing the three-round event with a 259 (+46) overall score.

Rounding out the Seahawk golfers was sophomore Josephine Sawyer, who shot a 262 (+49).

Wagner's next competition will be in Annapolis, MD for the Navy Invitational, spanning from Saturday, September 30 to Sunday, October 1.
