Loudonville, NY – The Wagner College men's lacrosse team dropped a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) contest to Siena on Saturday afternoon.
Despite getting five shots on goal in the opening quarter, Wagner was unable to find the back of the net as Siena was able to tally four goals to take a 4-0 lead into the second frame.
Wagner opened the second quarter on a 2-0 run on goals from senior
Benjamin Stewart and sophomore Patrick to cut the Siena lead to 4-2. The Saints responded with a 2-0 run of their own to extend the lead to 6-2 before sophomore
Quin Hoke tallied a goal with 10 seconds left in the first half to bring the game to 6-3 entering halftime.
Siena opened the second half on a 4-0 run before graduate student
CJ Sweitzer stopped the run with the lone Wagner goal of the third. The Saints took an 10-4 lead into the fourth quarter.

Jack Brady tallied two goals in the fourth quarter but it wasn't enough as Wagner fell 13-6.

Danny Brady stopped 17 shots in the contest for the Green & White.
Wagner will be back in action on Saturday, April 8 when they welcome Sacred Heart to Hameline Field at 12:00 pm.
