Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College women's lacrosse team trailed dropped a non-conference contest to Lehigh at Hameline Field on Saturday afternoon.
Lehigh opened the game on a 4-0 run before graduate student
Nia Scott got Wagner on the board with 20 seconds remaining in the first quarter.
The Mountain Hawks opened the second quarter on a 5-0 run to bring the score to 9-1 before Wagner launched a 2-0 run. Senior

Kelsey Scheidel netted the two goals for Wagner during the run before Lehigh netted one more first half goal.
With Lehigh holding a 10-4 lead at halftime, the Seahawks launched a 4-1 run in the third quarter behind two goals from sophomore
Kendra Hall and one goal from sophomore
Sophia Colver and senior
Emily Wesoky.
The game entered the fourth quarter with the Mountain Hawks holding an 11-7 advantage before two goals from
Megan Greco and one goal from
Nia Scott cut the Lehigh lead to 11-10. Scott's second goal of the game made the score 11-10 with 10:53 remaining in the final stanza. Following Scott's goal, the Mountain Hawks ended the game on a 3-1 run to earn the 14-11 victory.

Aileen Hannan notched three ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Wagner will return to action on Tuesday, March 7 when they welcome Hofstra to Hameline Field at 6:00 pm.
