Staten Island, NY - The women's tennis team hosted UNC-Wilmington in a non-conference dual at the CSI Tennis Courts on Wednesday.

In a battle of the Seahawks, Wagner was defeated at home by a score of 6-1.

Junior Gabrielle Perraudin continues her strong and consistent play, netting Wagner's only point in #2 singles, beating freshman Eda Arli, 6-4, 1-6, 1-0 (10-8).

Fellow junior Tara Dakic battled hard in #1 singles but would eventually lose 6-2, 6-4.

Sophomore Paula Ysabelle Uy fought back in her second set against senior Anna Daniels, but it proved not to be enough as she went down 6-1, 6-3.

Next up, the Green & White will travel to Teaneck, NJ for a Northeast Conference (NEC) dual against the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights on Thursday, March 30th. First serve is set for 1:00 pm.
