Urbana, MD - The Wagner men's golf team competed at the Carpetbagger Classic this weekend, finishing tied for 11th place. The team shot a 313 (+25) on day one and improved to a 298 (+10) on day two, the sixth best score out of 15 teams.
Junior Thomas Choi and sophomore Michael Foley led the way on day two with a 73 (+1). It was Choi, however, that paced the Seahawks for the weekend with an overall 150 (+6), good for a tie in 20th place.
Foley finished the weekend with a 153 (+9) after shooting an 80 (+8) on day one. Senior Tyler Galantini came in second place among Wagner golfers, shooting a 152 (+7) and tying for 31st place.Â
Freshman Rasmus Seppänen (+13) and junior Luke Bigelow (+14) finished tied for 51st and 57th, respectively.
Next up for the Seahawks is a match against Manhattan College on Friday, March 31.Â
