This Week in Wagner Athletics; 11 Teams In Action As Spring Sports Begin Competition

Staten Island, NY - Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week.

Men's Basketball 
- The Seahawks will travel to CCSU on Thursday, with tip-off set for 7:00 pm on ESPN+. 
- Wagner will play host to Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday, with tip-off set for 4:00 pm.

Women's Basketball
- Wagner will host CCSU on Thursday, February 16 at 7:00 pm at the Spiro Sports Center.
- Wagner will travel to FDU on Saturday, February 18 at 4:00 pm on ESPN3 & SNY.

Women's Lacrosse
- The NEC preseason favorites will open the 2023 season on Wednesday, February 15 at Hameline Field against Drexel at 6:00 pm.
- Wagner will then travel to Fairfield on Saturday, February 18 at 1:00 pm.

Men's Lacrosse
- Wagner will host Fairfield on Saturday, February 18 in its season opener.

Women's Water Polo
- The #13 Seahawks will travel to Bloomington, IN to take place in the Indiana Classic on Saturday, February 18 and Sunday, February 19. 

Softball 
- Wagner will open its season at the NSU-Hampton Softball Classic.

Baseball
- Wagner begins its season with a three game road trip to Raleigh, NC to take on the #21 ranked Wolfpack of NC State.
- The first game is on Friday, February 17 at 3 pm.

Track & Field
- The men's and women's track and field teams will compete in the NEC Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend, February 19-20. 

Women's Tennis
- The Seahawks will head to South Orange, NJ to take on Seton Hall this Friday, February 18. 
- Wagner will then host NEC newcomer Stonehill at the CSI Tennis Courts on Sunday, February 19.

Men's Tennis
- The men's tennis team will host Boston University this weekend on Sunday, February 19 at 6pm. The matches will be at the CSI Tennis Courts on Staten Island. 

Bowling
- Wagner will travel to East Haven, CT to compete in its third NEC tournament on Saturday, February 18.
- Last weekend the Seahawks hosted St. Thomas Aquinas on Sunday, February 12 and earned victories in all three games.
