Staten Island, NY – Eight members of the Wagner College football team were named to the Phil Steele All-Northeast Conference teams.
Graduate student linebacker
John Gioia was named to the first team on defense, with senior
Junior Wily and sophomore
Jorel Liverpool earning spots on the second team defense.
Offensively, senior
Antonio Williams, junior
Rickey Spruill, and freshman
Jaylen Bonelli earned Third Team All-NEC honors.
On special teams, junior punter
Bailey Marzola and freshman longsnapper
Nick Ciucci were selected to the All-NEC Third Team.
In November, Gioia, Williams, and Wily picked up All-NEC honors, with Bonelli earning the NEC Rookie of the Year and Freshman All-American honors.
