Baltimore, MD - Over the weekend, the Wagner College bowling team took part in the Lady Eagles Invitational at AMF Woodlawn Lanes, hosted by Coppin State University. The event welcomed 13 schools that played in five traditional matches on Saturday, before playing in three Baker-style format contests on Sunday.
After the first day of competition, the Seahawks were in sixth place after earning an average game score of 164.3 across the five traditional matches. During day two, Wagner came away victorious in all three of their Baker-style format games, averaging a game score of 878. Overall, the Seahawks came away with a 4-4 record, winning one traditional match and three Baker-style format matches.Â
The Seahawks scored a pinfall of 2,620 in total Baker scoring and 4,107 in traditional scoring, for a total of 6,727. At the Invite's fifth-place game, Wagner concluded their weekend with a playoff victory over Caldwell University in six games.Â

Out of the 78 athletes at the tournament, sophomore Samantha McDermott placed 12th overall in traditional scoring with a game average of 179.2, while senior Amanda Medvetz finished in 22nd, with an average game score of 167.8.
Next up, the Seahawks will head to the second NEC Meet of the season in Mechanicsburg, PA from Saturday, December 2 to Sunday, December 3.
