North Brunswick, NJ - The Wagner Bowling team participated in their first Northeast Conference (NEC) meet of the season at Bowlero North Brunswick over the weekend.
At the meet, the Seahawks picked up one win against the Niagara Purple Eagles in their fourth match of the contest.
Wagner defeated Niagara by a score of 806-771, with sophomore Angelia Lubrano leading the way by knocking down 182 pins during the match. Junior AG Carhart came away with 159 pins knocked over against the Purple Eagles.
Senior Totiana Miranda and sophomore Samantha McDermott both scored 157 in the match. Senior Amanda Medvetz rounded out the Seahawks scoring by knocking over 151 pins.
Junior Kristina Colon also competed at the meet, averaging 145.25 pins knocked over across four traditional matches.
As a team, Wagner completed the meet with an overall record of 1-6 across the seven traditional games. The Green & White finished the series with a total pinfall of 5,414, and a game average of 773.4.
Next up, the Seahawks will travel to Baltimore, MD for the Coppin State Invite from Saturday, November 18 to Sunday, November 19.
