Lowell, MA – The Wagner field hockey team will hit the road for the first time this season when they take on UMass Lowell on Monday, September 5.

The Seahawks moved to 2-0 for the first time in program history when they defeated Yale, 2-1, on Friday at the Wagner College Field Hockey Complex.

With the game knotted at one, graduate student Laura Van Hamburg fired the ball into the back of the net off a penalty corner chance from junior
Shaelyn Kobrynich.
With the Green & White holding a 2-1 lead at the half, Wagner would hold onto the lead the rest of the way to earn the victory.
About UMass Lowell
The River Hawks enter Monday's matchup with a 1-2 overall record with both losses coming against nationally ranked UConn and UMass. UMass Lowell's lone victory of the season came against Northeast Conference (NEC) member LIU on August 28.
