Men's Golf Finishes Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate

The Wagner men's golf team completed day two of the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate on Sunday at the Shuttle Meadow Country Club.

The Seahawks shot +8 as a group on day two, finishing in 11th place overall with a combined 574 in the tournament. Wagner shot a program-best 282 (-2) on day one. Saturday's round was the first time the program had ever shot below par.

Tyler Galantini shot a 74 on Sunday and finished tied for 21st on the players leaderboard. The senior posted a 141 over the two days (-1) and birdied three holes on Sunday. Next on the players leaderboard was Thomas Choi, who shot a 71 on Sunday, a stroke better than his previous round. The rookie finished with a 143 (+1) and tied for 35th place.

Renato Gerena finished tied for 40th in his first collegiate tournament after shooting a 144 (+2) over 36 holes of play. Gerena birdied four holes on day two. Rasmus Seppanen improved his score by two strokes on day two, shooting a 72. He finished with a 146 (+4). Also participating for Wagner was Michael Foley, who finished with a 155.

The Seahawks are back on the course Wednesday, September 21 against Monmouth at Trump National Golf Course in Colts Neck, NJ.
