Washington, D.C., - The Wagner College women's lacrosse team punched its ticket to the Northeast Conference (NEC) tournament with a 20-4 victory over Howard on Saturday afternoon.

The Seahawks put a stamp on the contest in the opening quarter as they outscored the Bison 11-1 through the first 15 minutes. Eight different Seahawks found the back of the net in the opening stanza as graduate student Stefani Peluso, senior's Kasey Dorney and Maria Henwood, junior's Emily Wesoky and Megano Greco, sophomore Kelsey Scheidel, and freshmen Ella Marino and Katie Siverson all found the back of the net in the quarter. The goal for Ella Marino was her first career goal as a member of the Seahawks as she tallied two goals in the quarter, classmate Katie Siverson netted a hat trick in the quarter.

With a 10-goal cushion to begin the second frame, Wagner added three more goals from freshman Kendra Hall, Kasey Dorney, and Katie Siverson as Wagner took a 14-3 advantage into the halftime intermission.

Wagner outscored Howard 3-0 in the third quarter as Emily Wesoky tallied her second goal and freshmen Sophia Colver and Kendall Tabobandung tallied goals as well. For Tabobandung, it was her first goal as a member of the Wagner Seahawks.

In the final stanza, Ella Marino tallied her first career hat trick as Amy Rzeminiewsky tallied her first goal of the season. Kendall Tabobandung tallied her second goal and her first career multi goal game of her career.
